Hi all,
Firstly I would like to congratulate pupils that entered the Herne Bay competitions, great results. Your hard work paid off.
We have new classes starting, but if those days don’t suit you – we can usually accommodate you on an alternative day. Please let me know if you would like to come along. The Thursday class at 8.30 is mixed ability, and we are going to be teaching more sequence dances during this evening to accommodate those people going to Blackpool in June. Its also ideal for anyone going on a cruise as these dances are extremely popular.
Also just to let you know Cerys is now available for private lessons, at a cost of £15.00 per half hour.
So if you would like to go over something, or any parents wishing to learn for March 9 th please let us know.
February 25th – New Beginners Ballroom and Latin Class – 7.30 – 8.30 Tuesdays £45.00
March 9th – Runneymede competitions is the date for the next competitions. Tickets are limited – so please let me know asap how many you would like.
March 15th – Fish and chip supper dance. Tickets £20.00 please let me know asap if you would like to come. Lorraine and Kevin will be dancing their routines they have been practising for the St Lukes charity evening. So if you can’t make Brentwood, you may like to show your support on this evening.
March 16th – New Salsa course – 6 weeks £45.00 7.30 – 8.30 Sundays
March 22nd – Strictly come Dancing Charity evening at Brentwood centre Lorraine is taking part again with a new partner Kevin. It would be lovely to show your support and come along for the evening. Tickets are £26.50 and seating is now being booked. They raised £54,000 last year – so with your help this year it could be more. Tickets are being ordered this week – please let us know asap.
May 30th – June 1 st Blackpool weekend. This is a lovely weekend with competitions for everyone on the Saturday in the beautiful Winter Gardens. A social eve ning on the Friday night and a fantastic Dinner Dance on the Saturday night for adults. A great opportunity to dance in the Tower Ballroom, and also enjoy the pleasures of Blackpool. Bookings have now been made, please let me know if you haven’t already.
July 27th 2025 – Torquay holiday . Fantastic holiday – great value in a lovely part of the Country. No experience of dancing is necessary to join our group – Come along and have fun.
£515.00 per person 7 nights – great venue – half board – fine dining. Toorak Hotel part of TLH Leisure. Let me know if you need more info., we have a few places left – once they are filled we can confirm the booking. The hotel has changed their booking system, and we need to pay deposits now, please let me know if you would like to go. This may be the last call.
